How do I access my Membership benefits?

You can access links to the benefits on the Members Area of my website.

You’ll need to enter the monthly password which can be found on the platform you signed up with:

Patreon

Gumroad

The Patreon and Gumroad membership pages list the current password. I update these pages around the 1st of the month with the newest password.

Why am I unable to log in to my Membership account?

It’s possible that you entered a different email address when you registered. If you use more than one email address, try using that to log in.

Another possibility is that you made a typo when you entered your email address. If you are using Patreon or Gumroad, you can contact me and I will look up the email associated with your account. Then you’ll need to log in and correct your email.

How do I download a course or product?

My courses and product downloads are hosted on a separate website called Gumroad (not Patreon). Download links are delivered to the email address you entered when you purchased the product.

If you purchased a free or paid product and did not receive an email receipt, please view my Gumroad help page.

TIP: Check your spam folder and other inboxes for your receipt.

The videos in my Lesson Archive are hosted on my Dropbox. These are available for streaming-only. You can download the Resource Files, but not the videos.

How do I find which benefits I have access to?

How do I download brushes and workspaces?

You can download Corel Painter brushes and workspace from my Dropbox by following the instructions on this page.

You can download Photoshop/Fresco brushes by following the instructions on this page.

You can download Rebelle brushes by following the instructions on this page.

These pages are password protected. See the instructions at the top of this FAQ.

How do I ask a question?

If you joined through Patreon, you can post your question to the Community section.

If it’s a private question, you can message me through Patreon, or send me an email.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my Membership?

PATREON INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1: Hover over your profile image in the upper-right. Click Manage memberships from the drop-down menu that appears. You’ll see all of your current memberships listed in the Active Memberships section.

Step 2: Click Edit next to the membership you’d like to update. 

Step 3: You’ll be taken to the payment confirmation page where you’ll see the details of your current membership tier. To edit your tier level, click the Edit option where your tier is listed.

You can cancel your membership using the Edit or Cancel Payment link under the Update button.

Step 4: After clicking Edit, click Join for the new tier you’d like to join. If you don’t want to join a tier and simply want to support the creator, scroll down and click on the Make a custom pledge button.

Step 5: Review your billing summary! Before confirming your changes, read through the billing details of your membership on the right side of the confirmation page. This summary includes; payment method, payment amount of membership, VAT (EU patrons), and billing schedule. When you confirm, your new billing details will take effect immediately.

You’ll be charged the difference between what you’ve already paid for the month and your new membership amount.



Step 6
: Click Update to confirm your changes. After confirming you’ll be taken to a page where you can see benefits your creator offers. A confirmation email will be sent to your Patreon account email address detailing the changes.

Can I pay annually rather than monthly?

If you are on Patreon or Gumroad, yes! This will help to reduce excess transaction fees which means more of your support goes directly to me.

PATREON INSTRUCTIONS:

For existing patrons the following steps will help you switch over your pledge to annual:

  1. Log in, hover over your profile icon in the top right corner, and select Manage Memberships
  2. From your Active Memberships page click Edit next to the pledge you want to change
  3. You’ll see a familiar checkout page where you can select Annual 
  4. Click Update. Note: you’ll be charged upfront for the discounted price


New patrons, visit my Patreon page where you’ll see the option below the “Join” button of your chosen tier.

Can I pay in my local currency?

If you reside in the UK or EU, you can pledge to my Patreon in your local currency of Euros (€) or British Pounds (ÂŁ). This will help prevent you from paying extra conversion fees charged by your bank or card when pledging in a currency that’s not your own. 

Any new visitors to my page will see my tiers priced in their local currency of €, £, or $. For those of you who would like to switch your preferred currency you can follow these steps:

  1. On Patreon.com, hover over your avatar in the top right of your screen.
  2. Click Manage memberships.
  3. Find this page, and click Edit.
  4. Under Currency, choose your preferred currency.
  5. Click Update to save your settings.


For those of you outside of these currencies, you’ll continue to see your pledge priced in USD.

If I accidentally join with two different accounts, can I get a refund?

You betcha. Just email me and let me know which account you’d like to keep and I can process the refund for you.

How do I cancel my Membership?

If you are canceling because you are unable to find your benefits, please email me directly and I can help.

PATREON INSTRUCTIONS:

You can delete your membership at any time while logged into your Patreon account.

Go to: https://www.patreon.com/pledges

Click “View Details” next to the membership you wish to delete and click the “Edit” button.

Next, click on “Edit or Cancel Membership”. Then select “Cancel” and press the “Cancel your membership” button.

After you press “Cancel your Payment” you’ll be asked to confirm.

NOTE: If you have any past due payments from memberships that declined previously, Patreon will alert you to this prior to you confirming the deletion of your membership.

GUMROAD INSTRUCTIONS:
