If you need help accessing a course or product you purchased, please read the FAQ below. If the FAQ does not answer your question, please email me directly.

I purchased a course or product, how do I download it?

My courses and products are hosted on a website called Gumroad. To access a download, pull up your email receipt. There, you will see a link to download the files associated with your purchase. By clicking the link, you will be directed to a download page.

If you have not received an email receipt, please check your Spam folder. If you still can’t locate it, please contact Gumroad.

After being redirected to the download page, you might be prompted for your email address. Simply enter the email you used at checkout, and your download should begin. If the product you purchased contains multiple products, you will need to download each of the files.

Files Hosted on Dropbox

In some cases, Resource Files and Videos may be hosted on my Dropbox. From the product download page on Gumroad, you can download the Instructions PDF which contains a link to access the files on Dropbox. (You must DOWNLOAD this file, if you choose the READ option, the link will not be clickable.)

Accessing your purchase with the Gumroad Library

Alternately, you can create a Gumroad account. With a Gumroad account, you are able to access your Gumroad purchases at any time through your Library.

I never received an email receipt for my purchase.

If you can’t locate a receipt in your inbox, it is either: 

1. In your Spam folder. This is the case most of the time. 

2. In another Inbox. You may have used a different email. 

You can check that here: https://gumroad.com/charge

3. If the above page says it can’t find a match, then it’s most likely a typo in the email address you used at checkout. Contact me with the correct email and I may be able to fix it.

I tried logging in to Gumroad.com, but it says no account was found for my email.

Here are some potential reasons:

1. You made a typo when you entered your email address during the purchase.
You can email me and I will check to see which email you used. In many cases, I can correct the email address.

2. You may have used a different email address to purchase the course. If you have more than one email, try logging in with the others.

3. You may have purchased the course without creating a Gumroad account. Look in your email for a receipt with the download link.

4. You may have used a Facebook email address to create your Gumroad account. Check to see if you can use your Facebook email address to log in.

My purchase is not downloading or does not open.

Please read this help article for solutions.

I accidentally purchased courses with more than one email address.

If you find yourself in this predicament, simply: 

1. Email Gumroad

2. In your email, tell them both of the email addresses you’ve used on your purchases and the names of the products in particular you might be missing.

3. Tell them which account you’d like to keep.

Gumroad will then resend all of your purchases to that single account to make sure everything shows up in your Gumroad library

I pre-ordered a course, how do I download the files?

A pre-order is a reservation for a course that has yet to be released. You are not billed until the date the course is released.

(Please note that the release date is estimated. I will send you updates on my progress once I have the actual release date.)

Once you pre-order a course, you will immediately receive a confirmation email. And on the day the course is released, you will receive an email with the download link and a receipt for your purchase.

My download contained zip files. How do I open them?

This article will explain what to do with zip files.

How do I update my credit card information on Gumroad?

Go to the Billing section of your Settings menu. Click Use a different card. And wait 5 seconds.

You can now enter your credit card information or connect your PayPal account to your Gumroad account for fast future purchases.

When you’re good to go, click Update account details

How can I download the course files to my Dropbox?

If you have a Gumroad account, you can easily move your downloads to your Dropbox.

First, log into your Dropbox account.

Now, go to your Gumroad library and click the product’s cover image. You can also go to the download link provided by your email receipt. 

Click Download, and then click the Download all button on the next page. From the dropdown menu, click Save to Dropbox. Since you are currently logged into Dropbox, you will be able to choose the folder where you want to store the files.

How do I add a purchase to my Gumroad Library?

From your email receipt, click the Download link.

If you have a Gumroad account (and are currently logged in) simply click Add from the download page.

If you do not have an account yet, create a password and click “Sign Up.” You will now be able to access your library anytime by going to your Library.

Can’t see the product in your library? Contact Gumroad and they can help.

To remove a product from your library, simply click on the “Archive” button. You can access your archived purchases at gumroad.com/library?show_archived=true. Press the “Unarchive” button to return the purchase to your library.

Can I watch the course videos on my phone or tablet?

Yes. Please follow these instructions to download the Gumroad App.

How do I watch the course videos on a secondary display?

If you are using a monitor and a display tablet (Cintiq), you can watch the course videos on your monitor and control Corel Painter on the tablet.

You will need to Extend your displays and then make sure that the tablet is selected as your Primary Display. Here’s how to do that on Mac and Windows.

On Windows, you may need to drag the Corel Painter application window and palettes over to the display tablet.

If I accidentally purchase something twice, can I get a refund?

You betcha. Just let me know and I can process the refund for you.

The coupon did not apply when I made my purchase. Can I get the difference refunded?

Sure. Just email me and I will take care of that on my end.
