First, are several proportion guides you can use to help you compose your artwork. These are universal PNG files and can be imported into just about any art application that supports layers.
You can find these in the Reference Images section of my Dropbox under Composition.
There is also a version for Rebelle that integrates into the Reference Image Library Panel. This is an alternative to using Paths to create guides like this.
The advantage to using these guides as a Reference rather than a Path is that your brushes will not snap to the guides. This makes it easier to sketch over them.
This version can be found with the Rebelle content in my Dropbox.
